Glenn B. Trowbridge

STOW - Glenn B. Trowbridge, 93, on January 21, 2024, went to be with his Savior.

Born in Akron, Ohio, he was a longtime Stow resident, and a U.S. Army Veteran.

His faith in Jesus was the central organizing principle in his life. Along with his wife, Ann, Glenn was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church in Kent, where he was active in many of the church’s programs. Above all, he loved his family and the time he spent with them.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Georgie Trowbridge; son, Daniel, in 2020; brothers, Ralph, Roy, and Gene Trowbridge. He is survived by his sons, Mark (Peggy), David (Deborah), and Stephen (Valerie); daughter-in-law, Megan Trowbridge; grandchildren, Seth, Paul (Hayley), Luke (Naomi), Tom (Jamie), Evan (Sara), Daniel (Sarah), Matthew (Brittany), Michael, Brent (Sitha), Christopher (Jennifer), Jonathan (Megan), Andrew (Leah), Peter, April (Logan), Tera, and Karen; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Jane (Don) Leyden, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 9 - 11 AM, at Grace Baptist Church, 5915 Rhodes Road, Kent 44240, followed by a funeral service conducted by Pastor Bruce Chouinard. A graveside service will be held immediately after the funeral service at Maple Lawn Cemetery, 4915 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church .
