MUNROE FALLS - Grace Ann Hickman, born to Frank and Rose Alexander on August 20, 1927, in Akron, OH, passed away April 11, 2010. Grace married Ralph Edward Hickman in 1947, and was mother to Cherie Arnold-Pavlich (David), Dorene Ellis (William G. Jr.), Christine Burkhalter, Mindy Williams (Rick) and Ralph Edward Hickman, Jr., (Candy). She was sister to Elizabeth Caiola (Stephen) and brothers Gus Alexander (Chub) and Dominic Alexander (Carmen).
She enjoyed many happy years of boating, camping, fishing and traveling with her family as well as operating a business with her beloved husband of 63 years, Ralph. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends including 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren whom she leaves with many happy memories of family gatherings filled with joy and laughter.
The family extends sincere appreciation to the caregivers of KentRidge and also the staff of Summa Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to KentRidge at Golden Pond, 5241 Sunnybrook Road, Kent, OH 44240.
Funeral mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224, on Saturday, April 17th at 10 AM.
