Graydon Thomas Hendershott, Sr.

STOW - Graydon Thomas Hendershott, Sr., age 68, died September 17, 2024.

Graydon was born on November 15, 1955, in Cadiz, Ohio, the son of Graydon and Jean Hendershott. Graydon spent most of his life in Canton, Ohio, before becoming a resident of the Arbors of Stow in 2018.

Graydon, known by those who knew him well as “Shady Grady”, enjoyed watching wrestling and drinking a cold beer after working a long day as a masonry laborer with Union Local #1015 in Canton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Graydon and Jean Hendershott, as well as his brothers, Larry (Marie) Hendershott, and William (Shirley) Hendershott. He is survived by his wife, Kelley (Hendershott) Brooks; his children, Graydon (Raeannon) Hendershott, Jr., and daughters, Ashley Brooks, Juliana Brooks, and Jennifer Davlin, as well as his grandchildren, Lydia, Kota, Bentley, Harper, Mickensey, Paige, and Perry, along with his brother, David (Judy) Hendershott, Sr., and sister, Cindy Anderson.

Honoring Grady’s wishes, no services will take place.
