Obituary of Helen A. Sanchirico
STOW- Helen A. Sanchirico, age 92, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday September 15, 2010 at Briarwood Nursing Home in Stow.
Born in Brooklyn New York, Helen lived the past 48 years in Stow. She retired from O'Neil's Department Store, (now Macy's) where she worked for 20 years at the Stow-Kent store location.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Anthony L. Sanchirico, and her siblings, Yolanda Pierno and Albert Capriotti, both of Valley Stream, NY. She is survived by her two children, daughter Elena (James) Brown of Hudson and son John (Gayle) Sanchirico of Brighton, MI and her two cherished grandsons Jason Brown and Michael Sanchirico.
Friends may call Sunday 4 to 7 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial Monday 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Kent State Newman Center, 1424 Horning Road, Fr. Chris Luoni celebrant. Burial Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, 9500 Euclid Ave., H-18, Cleveland 44195-0002.
