Howard R. Leas, 92, died January 18, 2011.
Howard had worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 25 years and retired as Vice-President of Cardinal Plastics with 35 years of service. The family would like to give a special "thank you" to the staff at Falls Village and Hospice of Summa for their compassion and care.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2003, he is survived by daughter Carolyn (Steve) Mate, sons Donald (Cindy) and William (Shirley), grandchildren Erik, Taryn (Scott) Chmielowicz, David, Michelle (Scott) Marazzi, Scott Mate and Melissa, great-grandchildren Evan, Kaden, Angelina, Brayden, Brandon, Baron, Grady and Jasper, brother William (Norma) and sister Edith Laughlin.
There are no calling hours. Private family services were held. Interment Stow Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 525 East Market St., P.O. Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-9976.
