Howard Tuber

d. March 6, 2021

Howard J. Tuber, 75, met God’s glorious gaze March 6, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he grew up in Canton, where he graduated from Glenwood High School. Howard was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls, where he made a wonderful home for his family and entertained many family and friends. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Howard worked for Ohio Edison-FirstEnergy in roles of Comptroller and Senior Auditor for 39 years until his retirement in 2008. He also worked part-time teaching accounting at The University of Akron. Howard loved the company of family and friends and was known to beat many in a game of cards. He was also known as Mr. Handyman; no project was too big or too small. Howard enjoyed road trips, long walks, and could sit for hours with his beloved dog, Kassie, watching his favorite shows. He was a member of Christ Community Chapel and appreciated the many friends who shared God’s messages with him. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard L. and Laura Pearl Tuber; beautiful wife, Donna Early Tuber; nephew, Lenny Kitzen. He is survived by his sister, Sherry (Jerry) Kitzen; children, Melisse (Radovan) Boyd, Tyson (Lindsay) Moore, Leonard Tuber, Kimberly Broadnax, and Kevin Williams; grandchildren, Isla, Aiden Moore, Joel, Sammy Tuber, Ryan, Samantha Broadnax; many cousins, nieces and close friends who love him dearly. His side kick and best companion, Kassie, will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held, 11:30 AM Saturday, March 13 at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro Street, Hudson, OH 44236, where friends may call from 10:30 AM until service time. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Oakwood Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Howard’s name to the American Cancer Society 3500 Embassy Pkwy., Unit 150, Fairlawn, OH 44333. His memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part. God has him in his keeping, we have him in our heart.
