Jack R. Dement

HUDSON - Jack R. DeMent, 94, died May 3, 2022.

Born in Cleveland, he was a resident of Hudson since 2006, and raised his family in Macedonia.  Jack was a U.S. Army veteran and had been employed with Ohio Bell as a data processing manager, retiring in 1980 (after 33 years). He enjoyed golfing, playing wheelchair volleyball, and was an active member of Laurel Lake Retirement Community.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Rita DeMent; sister, Barbara Epaves, and brothers, Robert and Thomas DeMent, he is survived by his wife, Nancy DeMent; sons, Jeff (Naomi), Mark (Marissa), David (Denise Jin), and John (Stacie) DeMent; twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
