MUNROE FALLS - James R. Bishop, 64, died March 1, 2012.
A lifetime area resident, he was a member of Teamsters Local 24.
Preceded in death by his parents Oren and Mary Bishop, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary; sons Shane (Michelle) of Munroe Falls, Brian (Cindy) of Munroe Falls and Jason (Wendy) of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Paige, Tommy, Brandon, Nick, Wyatt, Makayla and Dakota; sister Cheryl (Sherman) Hafer of Stow; sister-in-law Jane (Buster) Jarvis of Cuyahoga Falls and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 2 to 5 PM, where funeral service will be held Monday 11 AM. Private burial will be held at Silver Springs Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1815 West Market Street, Akron, 44313.
