Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident, a retired Army Ranger of the 75th Ranger Regiment and had been employed at Classic Lexus.
Preceded in death by his father Merril, he is survived by his mother Frances; daughters Emily and Megan Telscher; sister Debbiy (Todd) Dolfi; grandmother Mary Tate and girlfriend Kaitlynn Golub.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Saturday 9:30 AM. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens where military service will be conducted by American Legion Falls Post 281. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the ODNR Division of Wildlife, 2045 Morse Road, Bldg. G-1, Columbus, OH 43229-6693. James' video tribute may be seen here.
