James W. Clason

James W. Clason, 79, passed away into the arms of Our Heavenly Father September 8, 2010.

Born in Akron, he was a former Akron, Stow and Munroe Falls resident. He retired after working forty years in engineering at Goodyear Aerospace.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Clason (September 9, 2009.) He is survived by daughters Debbie (Ron) Clason-Grinder, Chris (Kirk) Clason-Raymond; son Jamie Bruce (Crystal) Clason; grandchildren Ally and Cory Grinder, Jared, Kyle and Evan Clason, and his faithful dog Benji.

He attended The Ohio State University and remained a Buckeye fan for life, and was also a car enthusiast. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Chaplain Jim Walter will conduct funeral services Saturday 10:30 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 9 AM until service time. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr. Suite E Uniontown, OH 44685.
