STOW -Jane E. Mesereau (nee Comisky), 85, died October 7, 2012.
Born in Geneva, New York, she was a longtime area resident and member
of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John, Sr. and son-in-law Brian Howard, she is survived by daughters Mary (John) Weishar of Westlake, Jane Mesereau (Peter Clesh) of Strongsville, Nancy Mesereau of Brooklyn, New York, Rae (Rob) Schneider of Stow; sons John Mesereau, Jr. of Florida and Thomas (Mona) Mesereau of Colorado; grandchildren Mary Clare (John) Lane, John Weishar, Jr., Michael Mesereau, Mariah Mesereau, Julia Schneider and Danny Schneider; great-grandson Jack Lane; and brother William (Ellie) Comisky of Massachusetts.
Jane earned a B.A. from the College of New Rochelle and an M.L.S. from Kent State University. She worked at Stow Public Library and retired from teaching at Cuyahoga Falls High School.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, where friends may call from 11 AM to noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library Endowment Fund, Akron Community Foundation, 345 West Cedar Street, Akron OH 44307-2407.
