CUYAHOGA FALLS - Jerilyn Dian (Achberger) Yama, BSN, 79, died May 10, 2022.

She was born in Akron to the late Elden and Helen (Worron) Achberger. A lifetime area resident, she was a graduate of Akron General Hospital School of Nursing. Her employment included years at Akron General Hospital, Akron Children's Hospital, and Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, and later as a Quality Control auditor for AudiQual. She was a long-time attendee of The Chapel in Akron and Christ Community Chapel in Hudson.

Preceded in death by her husband, John, she is survived by sisters, Marla (Victor) Debellis, Maloa Achberger, and Lou-Ann (Bruce) Redmon; nephews, Kevin (Pamela) Redmon, Keith (Catherine) Redmon, and their families; step-children, Sharon Yama Keys, Christine Yama, and Michael Yama.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, where Dr. David Weyrick will conduct services Saturday 11 AM, with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Burial Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
