Joann G. Holt

STOW - JoAnn G. Holt, 88, died February 26, 2023.

Born in Greensburg, PA, she was a resident of Stow since 1967. JoAnn had been employed as a housekeeper, retiring in her early 70’s. She became a valuable asset and friend to all of those for whom she worked. Many of which, she helped until their last days. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Stow, volunteering at the church and at Open M feeding the homeless. JoAnn loved cooking for others, especially her neighbors and family. She was an enthusiastic fan of all of her grandchildren and attended their events as often as she could, often traveling out of state. In her retirement years, she and Jack traveled and saw as many sites of the United States as they could. She was greatly loved by her husband, Jack, and her family. She will be remembered as one who served others and her great smile and her enthusiasm for life.

Preceded in death by her parents, James and Olive Mears, she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jack Holt; sons, Dale (Cindy) and Doug (Diane) Holt; grandchildren, George, Griffin, Ian, and Olivia.

Pastor Dan Page will conduct service 10 AM, Friday March 3, 2023, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.
