CUYAHOGA FALLS - Jonathan Daniel Falitico, 46, passed away suddenly on June 18, 2022.
Jonathan was a wonderful husband to his wife, Mandy, and loving father to his two girls, Anna and Rebecca. He could often be heard singing and making up silly words to songs to encourage them. He loved to imitate the voices of Larry the Cucumber or Bullwinkle J. Moose, as well as several others, would often be heard when he was around.
He was born in Akron and was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for nearly his entire life. Graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1994, he was a proud member of the Black Tiger Marching Swing Band, the Gold Tones, and the Pit Orchestra. A talented musician, he played the clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, piano, and more. If an instrument was needed, his band teacher would ask him to play, and if he didn’t know how to, he would learn.
Jonathan had been employed with West Point Market as a buyer’s assistant. He was associated with Church in the Falls, South Street Ministries, as well as several other faith bodies, and had ministered at Macedonia Church of the Nazarene. Jonathan enjoyed reading the Bible, Star Wars, and Star Trek. He touched everyone he met with his kindness and love for the Lord. And he called his mother every day. He will be missed, but we know he is finally whole and doing what he loves most, in the arms of his Savior.
Preceded in death by his father, Carmine Falitico, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Amanda “Mandy” Falitico; mother, Diane Falitico; daughters, Anna and Rebecca; sister, Tara (Anthony) Clayton; brothers, Dana and David Reagan.
