Joseph (Joe) A. Schossler

STOW - Joseph (Joe) A. Schossler, 71, passed away peacefully March 24, 2024.

Born in Akron, he has been a resident of Stow since 1952. Joe had been employed with Iron Workers Local #17, as a master welder for 35 years, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed frisbee with his dog, Lindo. Joe never knew a stranger. One of his biggest accomplishments was building the “Monster Garage” on the property that he and his wife, Jen, purchased in 2003. There Joe could assist friends and family with car repairs and welding projects. Afterwards, they would enjoy a drink at “Joe’s Bar,” where he loved to have friends and family over to listen to music and relax.

Preceded in death by his father, Michael Schossler; brothers, Michael and Victor Schossler, and sister, Christina Schossler. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Schossler; son, Jesse (Amanda) Schossler; mother, Shirley Marco, and sisters, Debbie (Dave) Schoonover and Cathy (Jim) Zevenbergen.

No services will be held, and cremation has taken place.
