Obituary of Josetta A. Podges
STOW - Josetta Podges, 66, passed away December 31, 2020, fifty years to the day since her first date with her husband, Robert.
Born in Ashtabula, she was a resident of Stow since 1976. Josetta had been employed with Allstate, retiring in 2012. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Josetta enjoyed shopping, vacationing with her family at Sunset Beach in North Carolina, and above all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Josephine Church, brother Ronald Church, and aunt Theresa Monda, she is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Podges; son Greg (Megan) Podges; daughter Mandy (Tim) Hinkel; grandchildren, Madison, Isabella, Mason, Jayden and Cameron Josetta; sister Diane (David) Fritz; nieces, Lisa (Brian) Knight, Melissa (Ryan) Musgrave, and Katie Fritz great-niece, Mia Musgrave; great-nephews, Tyler and Drew Knight and son-in-law Joe McNamee.
Mass of the Christian Burial Tuesday 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Paul Rosing celebrant. Friends may call from 9 AM to 10 AM Tuesday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, masks will be required and social distancing observed.
