STOW - Joyce Balaun, 80, of Stow, Ohio, died peacefully on April 29, 2022, after a short illness.

Joyce was born August 13, 1941, in Steubenville, OH, the eldest daughter of the late Kenneth Scott and Mary Eloise Saunders. After her father’s death in WWII, she was raised by her mother and stepfather, the late Joseph Campagna, Sr., and lived on a small farm for much of her childhood.

Joyce is survived by her children, Vicki (Chad) McClenathen, Pepper (Mike) Slusser, Mitch Balaun, Linda (Greg) Mosko; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Scott, Joseph (Sandie) Campagna, and James (Diane) Campagna.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Scott (Larry) Feinman.
