Judith (Judy) A. Harrison Coon

HUDSON/FAIRLAWN, OH - Judith A. Harrison Coon, 83, died January 22, 2025.

Born in Cincinnati, OH, Judy was a resident of the Akron, OH area since 1977. Creativity was in her heart. She built homes, worked in advertising and real estate. She was also a model. She created beautiful works of art and had an eye for modern design.

More than anything, Judy enjoyed time with her grandchildren, Lauryn and Jack. They filled her heart with joy. She adored and appreciated her caregivers at Hudson Grande Senior Living and Traditions Hospice, even if she didn’t always show it! Her family is truly grateful for the love and care they took with Judy. She was a feisty and sensitive soul. More than anything, she believed in love ~ she never gave up on love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, "Moose" (Leonard E. Coon), parents, Carl and Rosemary Schlotman, and her brothers, Carl, Jr. and David.

She is survived by her brother, Jim (Chris) Schlotman; daughter, Laura (James) Clark and daughter, Jamie (Ryon) Wharton, and the two best grandchildren ever, Lauryn Wharton and Jack Wharton, as well as many more family members and friends.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a future date to be announced.
