Karen Marie Kissner

STOW - Karen Marie Kissner, 76, died December 11, 2020.

Born in Akron, she was a longtime Stow resident and enjoyed a lengthy career as a registered nurse at Akron General Medical Center providing compassionate care to patients for over 40 years. Always a person to put the needs of others above her own, she loved to care for her family and the rescue animals she adopted over the years. In her free time she enjoyed traveling, reading, crafts, social clubs, knitting and crocheting.

Preceded in death by her parents Millard and Grace Drushal, and siblings Millard, Jr., LaVonne and Ralph, she is survived by her sons Kenneth (Elizabeth) and Kerry (Michelle); grandchildren Katherine, William, Courtney, Alexander and Amelia, and great-grandchild Jayda.
