Kenneth M. Unrue

MUNROE FALLS - Kenneth M. Unrue, 74, died November 24, 2022.

Born in Wilkinsburg, PA, Ken was a 1966 graduate of Stow High School, and a proud alum of THE Ohio State University. Ken enjoyed fishing and hunting and was known to pass down his passion of the outdoors to others. In 2011, Ken retired as Operations Manager from Georgia Pacific and more recently was employed with Summit Millwork. Throughout his life, Ken enjoyed working with youth, both as a youth group leader and mentor. It was time spent with his friends and family that he enjoyed most, and the lifelong memories that were made.

Family was the priority in Ken’s life, and he loved them all deeply. Preceded in death by his son, Doug, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty; brothers, Mark (Paula) and Dean (Jeanne); nieces and nephews, Mark, Nicole, Jeannie, Danna, and Nate, and his great-nieces.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday, November 28, 2022, from 4 PM to 7 PM, where services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 2:30 PM. The burial will be at Stow Cemetery immediately following services. MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR BOTH EVENTS.
