Kurt Gerhardstein

MUNROE FALLS - Kurt Gerhardstein, 76, died June 16, 2023. Kurt passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was a resident of Austintown, Ohio, for over 50 years and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Kurt had been employed with General Motors as a financial analyst before retiring. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown. Kurt was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Kurt enjoyed fishing, cars, and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Gerhardstein, he is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Gerhardstein; mother, Margaret Gerhardstein; daughters, Stacey Gerhardstein and Carey (Sean) Patton; son, Kyle (Sarah) Gerhardstein; grandchildren, Shane, Kylie, and Grant; sisters, Janet, Laurie, Sue, and Ann, as well as his brother, Mark. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to The Michael J.
