STOW - Laura J. Carano, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 21, 2023.
Born in Castiglione, Italy, she was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her favorite past times was crocheting baby blankets for so many babies that she watched grow up and others she never even met.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carl; parents, Michael and Giovanna Berardi, and sisters, Bina Berardi, Marietta DiGiacomo, and Henrietta Rossi. She is survived by her children, Joanne (Ron) Otto, Vincent (Karen) Carano, and Carla (Michael) Feltovich; grandchildren, Kyle (Touby) Otto, Cory Otto, Taylor Carano, Lina Feltovich, and Dylan Feltovich; great-grandchildren, Ariya and Logan Otto, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 10 to 11:15 AM. Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish, 83 Mosser Place, Akron 44310, Fr. Edward A. Burba celebrant. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
