Leeann Denise Hanna

STOW - Leeann Denise Hanna, 19, of Stow, Ohio, passed away February 26, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

Leeann was born on February 17, 2006, in Akron, Ohio, to Louis Hanna and Vincentia Denise Stewart. She graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 2024 and attended college at Stark State Community College. Leeann was a member of the Explore Program and was planning to become a police officer. She enjoyed snowboarding, going to the shooting range, listening to country music, and spending time with family and friends. Leeann worked as a cook at Wild Eagle Steak and Saloon.

She is preceded in death by her great-great grandparents, Elmo Tucker and Alice Densey; great grandparents, Joseph and Mollie Hopkins; grandmother, Betty Hanna; uncles, Johnny Hopkins, Charles Stewart, Nathaniel Stewart, Terry Stewart, Michael Lewis; aunts, Mary Russell, Marvina Stewart, and cousins, Patrica Russell, Johnathan Hopkins, and Otis Jackson.

Leeann leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Louis Hanna; mother, Vincentia Stewart (Ralph); sisters, Aelyssa and Ashlynn Wilson; brother, Anthony Wilson; nephew, Adrian Wilson; great-grandmother, Gloria Morris; grandfather, Vincent Stewart; grandmother, Frances Alexander (Nathaniel); aunts, Sarah Morris, Zelma Hopkins, Georgette McGinnis, Chanda McGinnis, Shanty Ward, Tonya Curtis, and Denise Stewart; uncles, Avery Hanna, Daryl Hanna, Mark Stewart, George Stewart, Demetris Curtiss, as well as a host of cousins.

Honoring Leeann’s generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 PM, on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224.
