Licia A. Danford

AKRON - Licia A. Danford, 61, died December 4, 2024.

Born in Cincinnati, she was a resident of Akron since 1975. Licia was the owner of LA Alterations for 34 years, and enjoyed unicycling, sewing, car shows, swap meets, baking, and cooking. Her happiest and most prideful moments were drag racing Harley Davidsons. In 2014, she was Crew Chief of the Year. She also won two National Championships with the American Motorcycle Racing Association.

Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ann Chamberlain. She is survived by her true love and husband of 33 years, Kevin Danford, and her sons, Clayton Danford and Travis Danford.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 4 - 7 PM.
