Linda S. Kirkland

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Linda S. Kirkland, died July 8, 2024.

Linda was born in Salem, Ohio, in October of 1943, and spent her childhood in Morgantown, West Virginia. She later moved to Stow, where she met her husband, Leslie, and they had three daughters.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leslie “John” Kirkland; her sister, Carolyn Tritchler, of Cuyahoga Falls; her brother, Fred Mongold, of Port Saint Joe, Florida; daughters, Kim (Joe) Myers of Rootstown, Melody Hazelett, and Michelle Kirkland of Stow; grandchildren, Jason Rowles, Joshua Rowles, Jessica Rowles, Sarah Connor, Matthew (Erica) McClain, Emily (Adam) Ray, Becca (Michael) Myers-Williams, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruby; her brothers, Ronald Mongold, Larry Mongold, and her sister-in-law, Barbara Mongold.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

The family wants to thank her caretakers at Cardinal Village, Summa’s Center for Senior Health, (Scott), and Grace Hospice, (FKA Harmony Cares Hospice).
