Linda Boyer Newsom

NORTHAMPTON - Linda Boyer Newsom, a resident of Northampton since 1966, died December 22, 2022.

She was born in Bedford, OH on July 25, 1946, to parents Virginia and Norman Boyer. A graduate from Hudson High School and Carnegie College, she was a medical supervisor for 15 years with Equifax and had also been employed by the Crystal Clinic at Hand Rehab and Summit Hand Center.

Mrs. Newsom received the Good Samaritan Award from the City of Cleveland, was a lieutenant on Northampton Fire Department/Rescue, and was the first EMT on the department. She is also a member of Tallmadge Church of Christ.

She has always loved her family and her grandchildren and has been faithful to the Lord. Linda enjoyed camping, traveling, and volunteering.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norm and Virginia Boyer, and leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Kenneth; son, Brian Newsom; daughter, Lori Williams; her grandchildren, Justin and Caitlin Hackworth and Jeremiah Newsom; sister, Joanne Mikulas; as well as nieces, nephew, cousins, and aunts.

Funeral service will be held Friday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, (Rt. 91), Stow 44224, where friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until service time. Burial Northampton Cemetery.
