STOW - Louellyn C. Robinson, 85, died August 18, 2022.
Born in Mansfield, she was a resident of Stow since 1969, a graduate of Kent State University and had been employed as a teacher in Columbus and Lorain schools. For 10 years, she was the organist at Grandview Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls prior to becoming a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Louellyn enjoyed ballroom dancing, square dancing, was a member of the Stow Woman’s Club and Stow Sunshiners. Music was a very big part of her life and Louellyn taught piano, organ, and was a member of the National Organ Guild and the music fraternity Delta Omnicron.
Preceded in death by parents, John “Jack” and Ruby Craig, and sister, Cynthia Wilcox, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cornelius Robinson; sons, Christopher and Dave (Dottie) Robinson; daughter, Lisa Schoenthal; granddaughter, Ashley Schoenthal, and brother, Randall Craig. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to home aide Vincentian Stewart for all the care and support she provided Louellyn and her family.
Pastor Michael Ward will conduct service Thursday, 11:30 AM, at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221. Friends may call Wednesday, from 4 to 7 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, 44224 and at the church on Thursday, from 10:30 AM to service time.
