Age 94, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023, with his devoted wife, Elizabeth, by his side.

Born November 21, 1928, to the late Lillian (Lampus) and William Bristow.
Preceded in death by brothers William and Wesley.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Iddings). Father of Deborah Milano (Jay), Lynn (Maria), Daniel, Patrick (deceased), and Wendy Biello (Ray). Stepfather of Mike Stanley (Gloria) and Shelly Pokorny (Tom Pokorny, deceased). Grandfather of Lynn Bristow (Melissa), Shawn Bristow (Melissa), Nicholas Milano (Dana), Christopher Milano (Trisha), Michael Milano (Noèmie), Jessica Campbell (Mark), Ruby Johnson (Matt), Daniel Garvey, Maeve Christie and James Christie. Step-Grandfather of Joseph Pokorny (Courtney), Andrew Pokorny, Paul Stanley and Neal Stanley. Great-Grandfather of eleven.

A star football player at both Lakewood High School and Wittenberg College, Lynn carried his love of athletics into a career spent teaching Health/Physical Education and coaching various sports. A long retirement allowed for years of adventure for Lynn and Liz, while they explored, hiked and camped in our Great National Parks; serving as volunteer Park Rangers along the way. Lynn’s zeal for sport and adventure was passed to his children and grandchildren. Few and far-between were their games, matches and meets that were missed over the course of decades.

A kind and gentle soul who loved his wife, Liz, deeply; took great pride in his children and grandchildren and appreciated the natural world around us. Lynn will be deeply missed.
