Marcelyn M. Rogers

AKRON - Marcelyn M. Rogers, 92, went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2023.

Born in Akron, she was a lifelong area resident. Marcelyn had been employed as an administrative assistant with Sterling Jewelers and Schulman, Incorporated, before retiring in 2006. She was a member of Victory Life Church in Stow.

Marcelyn loved gospel music and ministered to many as a pianist at church and for weddings and other events. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting. Marcelyn’s true love was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her beloved family.

Marcelyn is survived by her daughter, Cyndie Rogers, and sons, Randy (Lisa) and Mark Rogers, as well as grandchildren, Landry and Taylor.

Pastor Matthew Skifstad will conduct service 11 AM, Monday, January 23, 2023, at Victory Life Church, 3833 Hudson Drive, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call from 10 AM until service time at Victory Life Church.
