HUDSON - Margaret (Marge) Ann Barber, 91, formerly of Silver Lake, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. As a dedicated Christian, we all know she is in a better place.

Born in Akron, she was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Marge was the PTA President in Cuyahoga Falls, until she got her teaching degree and taught for 25 years with Tallmadge City Schools, where she received The Teacher of the Year award.

Marge enjoyed bowling, playing golf with her girlfriends, playing Five Crown and bridge, making rosaries, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her loving family.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary (DiLemmo) DeCastro; husband, Frank, Jr.; siblings, Pat, Bill, Frank, Dudley, and Thomas. She is survived by her daughter, Debby; sons, Frank, III (Nancy), Bill (Ellen), and Ron (Grace); grandchildren, Ben, Mark, Katie, Rachel, Allison, Matt, Maggie, Molly, Mike, and Mary; 17 great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.

Mass of the Christian Burial Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224. Friends may call at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224 also on Monday, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment at Stow Cemetery.
