STOW - Marie (May) Wilson, 94, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, May 16, 2022.
Born October 5, 1927, in Cleveland, May was a long-time resident of Lake County, Ohio, before moving to Stow in 1969.
She was blessed with multiple creative talents, including sewing, crocheting, tatting, needlepoint, cooking, wreath making, and others, which she generously shared with family and friends.
May was a long-time member of Crestview Baptist Church.
May was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Theodora Toutant; brother, Ed Toutant; sisters, Betty Faulk, Bernie Dular, and Charlotte Toutant, as well as granddaughter, Tammy Cook, and her beloved husband of 50 years, Alfred M. Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Alfred (Sandy) Wilson, Susan Hersman, and Charles (Maggie) Wilson; seven grandchildren: Mikki, Christy, Tracy, Stacey, Paul, Tim and Tom; fifteen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Pastor John McIntyre will conduct service Thursday, May 26 at 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM. Burial Maple Lawn Cemetery in Stow.
