Marilyn Ruth Finkle (Nee Brock)

STOW - Marilyn Ruth Finkle (nee Brock), celebrated her 92nd birthday on April 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, and passed away comfortably on April 11, 2024.

Marilyn was the daughter of the late Esther, and stepfather, Irving Glick, and the sister of the late Sandy Brock, and sister-in-law of the late Barbara Hersman.

She is survived by her children, Maureen Kapasi (Kenneth), Barbara DiScenna (Alfred), and Harvey Finkle (Christine). She is preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Finkle and Stanley Rocker, and by her sons, Arny and Louis Finkle. She was the loving grandmother of Arny Martin (Christina), Matthew Boemi (Maria), Heather Hinklin (Damian), and Austin, Brandon, and Corey Finkle. She was the doting great-grandmother of Sophia and Pete Martin, Carmen and Jaelynn Harvey, and Raffa and Nico Boemi. She was a beloved aunt to Paige Harbaugh (Rob), and numerous other extended family members.

Marilyn was the owner of Suburbanite Liquidators and was also a licensed antiques appraiser and dealer. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, but spent her formative years, child-raising period, and much of her work career, on Cleveland’s east side. She relocated with her family to Florida where she continued her work and eventually relocated to help raise her adoring triplet grandsons in the Orlando area. Marilyn was a consummate cook who loved family, friends, fashion, fine dining, and casino games of chance.

The family would like to express their heart-felt thanks to friend and personal attendant, Sherry Potts, the caring staff and neighborly residents of Altercare Western Reserve, the attentive and professional care provided by Western Reserve Hospital, and the watchful eyes and tender hands of the Absolute Hospice staff.

Burial ceremony and Celebration of Life will be held in June.
