Mary Alice Frank

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary Alice (Bender) Frank went peacefully home to the Lord on February 20, 2021 at The Gardens of Cuyahoga Falls at the age of 85. She was the daughter of Harold and Clara Bender and was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Richard (Dick) and son Mark Harold, and her brothers and sisters. She grew up in Akron, but Mary and Dick lived most of their lives in Cuyahoga Falls. If you knew Mary, you loved Mary. She was a gentle hearted woman who demonstrated her care for others; she nurtured and valued her many friendships and was a devoted mother and wife and loved to dote on her grand and great-grandchildren. Mary volunteered actively in her church and was often found attending Bible studies or serving communion or assisting with children’s ministries. She had an easy laugh, loved butterflies, daisies, Lighthouses, and adventure. Mary is survived by her two children, Michael (Christine); daughter Sheila (Ed) Frankonis; grandchildren, Brittany (Paul) Hahn, Chelsie (Patrick) Tenney, Corey (Laurie) Frank and Ed Frankonis; and great-grandchildren Carson, Eli, Hannah, Hailey, Ellie, Braylon, Mason, Makayla, Bobby, and Gavin. Pastor Mike Ward will conduct service Tuesday, 6 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow, where friends may call from 5 PM until service time. Private burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
