Mary Eleanor Foltz

STREETSBORO - Mary Eleanor Foltz passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022.

She is survived by Allen, her faithful husband of 62 years; her four children, Paul (Stacy), Sharon (Jay), Gregory, and Scott (Amy); grandchildren, Haley, Stephen, Randy, Michelle (Shane), Rachel, Jenna, Kylie, Lainey, and Macie, and brother, Richard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eleanor McGinnis, and her brothers, Roger, Raymond, Robert, and David.

Mary was born in Marysville, MI, on July 8, 1937, and grew up in the small town of Goodells. She attended Bible college at Tennessee Temple University, then moved to Bedford, Ohio, working for Baptist Mid-Missions and attending Bible Baptist Church. She also spent some time working with the Portage Count Sheriff’s Department as the secretary for the Chief Detective. Mary taught Sunday School for many years and was a longtime member of Mission Baptist Temple in Stow, Ohio. She loved to play Scrabble, do cross-stitch, and puzzles.

Mary will be greatly missed by her loved ones, but we are comforted by the assurance of her Heavenly home.

Pastor Ryan Gilin will conduct service 12 PM, Thursday, at Mission Baptist Temple, 4163 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call from 11 AM until service time at the church. Burial Evergreen Cemetery, OH-14, in Streetsboro, OH 44241.
