Mary Grace Timms

MUNROE FALLS - Mary Grace Timms, age 86, passed away November 11, 2023.

She was born in Akron, Ohio, on July 17, 1937. Grace worked at the Summit County Department of Human Services for many years until retirement. She was a member of the Broadman Baptist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. She was an avid bowler, loved to golf and just hang out with her family. She had been a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Grace and her husband had gone on many trips with their Honda Gold Wing, with her dog riding in the sidecar, pulling their little camper behind them.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin, whom she was married to for 41 years. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly; daughter, Kelley Clarke-Ross; sons, Jerry (Amanda) Smith, Jeffery (Heather) Timms, and Micheal (Christina) Timms; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jacob) Fisher, Andrea (Jonathan) Upchurch, Jacob and Jeremey Smith, Sydney, Riley Avery, and Caleb Timms, and Christina, James, and Rachel Timms, as well as many great-grandchildren.

Grace was an avid reader and adventure seeker. Always ready for a laugh, she was a social butterfly and never met a stranger, ready to lend a hand to those who needed it. Grace loved all of us with compassion and believed that we could do no wrong. The name “Grace” means blessing, and she was such a blessing to all of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224 for visitation, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Pastor John McIntyre will conduct funeral service at 12:30 PM, at the funeral home. Burial immediately following at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Road, Peninsula, OH 44264.
