Maryann Sawders

STOW - Maryann Sawders, 80, died April 11, 2022.

Born in Cadiz, Ohio, she was a resident of Stow since 1965. Maryann had been employed as a medical assistant in a doctor’s office. She was a member of Stow Alliance Fellowship Church and had served as a missionary in Russia. She and her husband moved to The Vine Fellowship Church. Maryann enjoyed painting, crafts, and helping others.

Preceded in death by brothers, James and Thomas Gavorcik, she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Sawders; children, Ken (Terri) Sawders and Debbie (Kevin) Robenstine; grandchildren, Tim (Joanna) Sawders, Charles Sawders, and Rene (Michael) Porchowsky; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Caden, David, River, and Zion.

Pastor Tom Bloom will conduct service 7:30 PM Friday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call 4:30 PM to service time Friday.
