Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident who loved music and playing guitar.
Preceded in death by his father Donald Johnson and sister Patricia Adkins, he is survived by his wife Teri; mother JoAnn Johnson; sisters Peggy (Jerry) Howald and Cindy (Mike) Wearley; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Cherie and Craig Schrengauer; many cousins, nieces and nephews; special aunt Jackie Leonti and his dog Sasha.
Pastor Fred Wallis will conduct service Friday 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
