Megan Elizabeth Keleman
September 6, 1998 ~ August 14, 2024
STOW - A beautiful soul whose life was taken much too soon, Megan Elizabeth Keleman, 25, of Stow, Ohio, lost her life tragically on August 14, 2024.
Megan was a recent graduate from Cleveland State University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services along with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
She had just started a job at Shelter Care, Inc., a residential treatment program for children ages 6-18 who have emotional or behavioral problems. She was ready to dedicate her life to serving others, the most selfless thing one can do for another. Prior to her new chosen path, or some could say the path that chose her, Megan impacted the lives of many. Even as a small child, she would wave at someone and somehow, they were immediately drawn to her. Maybe it was those big blue eyes, that infectious smile, her sunny disposition, or just her natural way of connecting with people. She carried that throughout her short-lived life but made such a huge difference to every single person she encountered.
Megan was also involved with “Girls on the Run,” an organization which inspires all girls to build and grow their self-confidence, manage their emotions, and foster friendships. She would have continued to impact, help, empower, and advocate for those that could not do so for themselves.
This loss is great; beyond just family and friends, but the entire community will be at a loss without her.
Cherishing her memory will be her parents, Kelly (Marcinek) and Nick Keleman; brother, Matthew Keleman, and her sweet dog, Penny; grandparents, Myra and John Marcinek, grandparents (Late), Joanne and Nick Keleman; aunt and uncle, Tina and Rick Mindzora (Alyssa and Jacob); uncle, Scott Marcinek, uncle (Late), Anthony Marcinek, uncle and aunt, Joe and Holly Keleman (Joey and Ally), and the many friends and extended family.
Pastor Cole Tawney will conduct services Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 10 AM, at Riverwood Chapel, 1407 Fairchild Avenue, Kent, Ohio 44224, where friends may call Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 4 - 7 PM.
