Nancy A. Souders

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Nancy A. Souders, 85, peacefully went home to be with our Lord on November 15, 2022.

Born on May 6, 1937, in Steubenville, Ohio, Nancy was the only child of Addison and Anna Lewis. Nancy was blessed with many gifts, but her biggest was her beautiful heart. Nancy’s late husband, children, and grandchildren felt the depth and magnitude of her love. Her face lit up at the sight of them. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved her role as a mom and grandma.

Always willing to listen and help, she was kind, thoughtful, and full of compassion for every person and creature. This was felt in her warm hugs and handmade gifts of love. Nancy was known to save every bug and feed the bears! Nancy and her late husband passed their love of nature on to her children and grandchildren, spending time together in the Allegheny Forest, on the Tionesta River, and picking wildflowers along the way.

Nancy was a creative crafter and seamstress. She lovingly sewed clothes, costumes, Dr. Seuss hats and Raggedy Ann dolls for her grandchildren. Nancy was a talented artist and photographer. She was an accomplished violinist, having a chair in the Kent State Orchestra. Always singing her favorite tunes, Nancy loved music.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Frank (Sharon) Fudale, Laurie (Jeff) Laturell, Bill (Annie) Fudale, and Ed (Donna) Fudale; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Brittany McFadden) Laturell, Jamie (Jon) DelVecchio, Alyssa (Matt) Lyons, Gavin (Kaylee) Fudale, Matt (Brooke Harper) Laturell, Lauren Fudale, Gabriela Fudale, Bill Fudale, Nicole (Nathaniel Thompson) Fudale, and Halina Fudale; great-grandchildren, Clio, Cameron, Madison, Andrew, Leo, and Navy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don Souders. The family will celebrate her life at a later date in Tionesta.
