Nathan William Crass, 27, of Fort Mill, SC, died at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday due to injuries in a deer-automobile accident north of Ohio City.

He was born on September 12, 1986, in Akron, the son of Stephen & Darla (Williams) Crass who survive in Denver, NC. On July 2, 2011, he married the former Shea Lyn McConahay who also survives in Fort Mill, SC.

Other family members include a sister Morgan (Nate) Hearns of Huntersville, NC; two brothers, Simon (Jessica) Crass of Chicago and Austin Crass of Denver, NC; paternal grandparents, Harvey & Dorothea Crass of Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law, Mickey J. McConahay of Van Wert; grandparents-in-law, Barbara Steptoe of Ohio City, Daniel & Sharon McConahay of Van Wert and Audrey Jacobs of Van Wert; two brothers-in-law, Martin (Valerie) McConahay of Austin, TX and Casey McConahay of Van Wert; several aunts and uncles; and he was loving "Uncle Gator" to Reagan and Colin Hearns and Daniel Crass.

Nathan was employed by Vanguard in Charlotte, NC and was member of LifePointe Christian Church in Ft. Mill. He was a 2004 graduate of Woodridge High School and earned his Bachelor's degree in financial planning from Ohio State University.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, Ohio, with Pastors Joe Coffey andMike Marette officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. Calling hours are Thursday evening 5 - 8 p.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Friday 4 - 8 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home in Stow, Ohio ( http://www.redmonfuneralhome.com/), and one hour prior to services Saturday at the Church.
Preferred memorials are to the Chrohn's and Colitis Foundation of America or LifePointe Christian Church.
