Nicholas Clark Rakic

STOW - Nicholas C. Rakic, passed away December 14, 2020. He was born in Akron, Ohio on January 22, 1980.

A graduate of Stow High School, Nichols was a carpenter with Local 285 for over twenty years. Everyone loved Nick and he was a favorite uncle to his nephews and nieces. Nick was an outdoorsman and he loved to hike, fish, and hunt. Nick will always be remembered for his love for his family and his willingness to help anyone.

Nick is survived by his sons Dustin, Darrell, Robert, and Ryan; parents: Paul and Claudia (Dyrlund); brothers, Bradley (Krista) and Joseph (Diya); nephews; Kaiden and Jackson; nieces, Kaitlin and Leona; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him.

Due to COVID, there will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a celebration of his life at another time.

Should family or friends desire, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
