STOW - Nicholas Rozumny, 96, passed away April 23, 2025, in Uniontown, Ohio.
Nick was born March 31, 1929, in Caro, Michigan, one of fourteen children residing on the family farm. He loved telling countless stories of the days on the farm with his dad and mom, Michael and Catherine (nee Dorosky) . He started his lifetime career with the Chrysler Company shortly after graduating from Caro High School in 1947. He retired from Chrysler in 1987. Nick met the love of his life, Mary Marokovic, in Detroit, Michigan. They were married nearly 66 years, residing in Stow, Ohio. Mary passed away on June 14, 2024.
Nicholas is survived by his sons, Nicholas (Joycie), Rodney (Beth), and Stephen. Nick was extremely proud of his four grandchildren, Meghan, Brian, Mason and Kendall.
Nick was a member of the Associates of St. Joseph at Archbishop Hoban High School. He committed over 40 years of volunteer service at the high school concession stand and special school functions. He retired from the concession stand at the age of 90. During those years, Nick and Mary formed special friendships with other parent volunteers as well as the Brothers of Holy Cross.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224.
Interment at Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow.
