Nicol Ingeborg Jehn-Zabel

STOW - Nicol Ingeborg Jehn-Zabel, 50, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday morning, June 1, 2023.

Nicol was born on May 4, 1973, in Fulda, Germany, to Maria and Alfred Jehn from Fulda/Mittelrode, Germany.

Nicol had graduated from Heinrich-von-Bibra Schule in Fulda, and completed an education in Hotel Business, where she worked until she moved to the United States in 2000, together with her husband. Nicol and her family grew roots in Stow, Ohio, where she raised her daughters and made many good friends who remember her as a graceful, loving, and caring person and will miss her in eternity.

Nicol is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Dirk Zabel; daughters, Annabel and Juliana Zabel; mother, Maria Jehn, and her sister, Marion Jehn.

Nicol’s family will receive friends on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 2 - 4 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Cleveland Clinic, Akron General, and the Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their loving care.
