STOW- Patrick J. Walker passed away May 24, 2012. He fought a courageous battle.
Born March 17, 1956 in Akron, Patrick graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School in 1975 and was employed with UPS for 25 years. He was a devoted father and loving husband, and his great loves were candy, cats and cars.
Preceded in death by his father Robert P. Walker, Patrick leaves behind his loving wife Gaylyn; daughters Tina Walker and Erika (Mike) Payne; granddaughters Makaila and Baby Girl Payne; his mother Jane; brothers Chris (Donna), Steve (Melissa); sisters Karen (John), Stephanie and Cheryl(Jeff), along with many nieces, nephews and extended family that he dearly loved.
The family wishes to express appreciation to the 3rd floor ICU staff of Akron City Hospital.
We love you, and may you rest in peace.
Service Tuesday 7 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5 PM until time service time. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
