Patsy J. Boyd

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Patsy J. Boyd, 87, died February 10, 2023.

Patsy was born in Akron, a graduate of West High School and Kent State University. She spent most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls where she was a teacher at Newberry Elementary School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, where she belonged to Sarah’s Circle and the New Wine Class. Patsy enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, and baking.

Preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Pauline Green, and her sister-in-law, Karen Green, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Boyd; son, Jim (Bridget) Boyd; grandchildren, Krista (Mitch) West and Garrett Boyd; brothers, Bob (Nancy), Dick, and Larry (Karen) Green; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jordan West, as well as cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Pastor Michael Ward will conduct service 12 PM, Saturday, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call from 10 AM to service time on Saturday. Burial Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
