Paul Edward Light

AKRON - Paul Edward Light, 59, passed away June 16, 2022.

Paul grew up in Munroe Falls and was a 1981 graduate of Stow High School, prior to residing in Akron for most of his life. He was employed as a maintenance technician for 37 years at Quikey Manufacturing.

Paul enjoyed playing golf, bowling, relaxing at the beach, and playing a game of pool with family and friends. He was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders. When he wasn’t watching football, he was listening to his favorite band, Led Zeppelin.

Preceded in death by wife, Julie Ann Light, and father, Chandos G. Light, he is survived by his son, Kyle Light; mother, Dorothy Light; brother, Michael (Terri) Light; sister, Julie Anne (Brian) Miller, and several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Jim Lewis will conduct service 7 PM Wednesday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call 4 PM to service time.
