Ralph J. Perez

Loving husband and father Ralph J. Perez, 78, was called home to the Lord on September 3, 2012, of complications from a stroke. Born in Detroit, MI, on June 28, 1934, he was a chemist and product specialist with Lubrizol Corporation, for whom he worked for nearly 40 years. Resident of Northeast Ohio for most of his life, he raised his family in Mayfield Heights and Solon before moving to Aurora in 1996.
Preceded in death by parents Rafael and Carmen Perez, he is survived by his wife of 53 years Margaret, also born in Detroit; children, Linda (Robert) Slocum, Nancy (David) Jimerson- Polacek, Kathleen (Barry) Just, Jay (Lisa) Perez; and grandchildren, David and Sophia Slocum, Matthew and Nicole Jimerson, Nolan and Nathan Just, and Rafael, Armen, Marcus and Carmel Perez. He is also survived by brother Donald (Judy) Perez of Darien, IL.
Ralph will be remembered for his gentleness, humility, loyalty and sense of humor.
Rev. William Schnell will conduct a service Friday 11 AM at The Church in Aurora, 146 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora 44242 and where friends may call Friday from 10 AM until service time. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio.
