Richard “Rick” Meredith Eisenman, 69, devoted husband to Mary Elizabeth (Regan) Eisenman, was called home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2022. He will be lovingly remembered by the entire family circle and by all the lives he touched.

Rick is now absent from the body and present with the Lord. Born in Ravenna, Ohio, to Thomas L. and Charlotte L. Eisenman on November 9, 1952. He married his “Sweetheart”, Mary, on September 20, 1980. They spent many happy years in Stow, Ohio.

Starting from an early age of 14, he enjoyed working on electronics, cars, watches, clocks, saving unprotected animals from harm, and was a hand radio enthusiast. “NO CELL PHONES FOR THIS COUPLE”. Those who knew Rick thought he was a savant with anything electronic or mechanical. His father-in-law, Willie, often commented, “Rick is a GENIUS."

In 1975, he became a member of the Local 306 I.B.E.W. as a residential journeyman. He retired in 2017 after 32 years of service with AECOM, contracted by W.P.C.S. for City of Akron, Ohio, as Chief Technician. He and Mary moved to Sugarcreek, Ohio, to begin their retirement years.

Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother, Michael. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; step-father, Dick Jones; brother, Larry (Denise); sister, Terri (Suzanne), and step-siblings. He will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law, Wilfred (Marilyn) and Stanley (Maria), along with his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Home Health Care, (Ariel, Shannon, and Jim), and Community Hospice, (Tina, Torree, Lori, and Terry), for their loving care and support.

For those that wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County , 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087.

Rick is being cremated and there will be a “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” gathering at later date to be announced. Family and friends are encouraged to post comments.
