Richard Allan Heasley

As you read this, please know I am home, my permanent home, with God. On June 4, 2023, I joined my dear wife of 65 years, Carol. I will miss my three beautiful children, Karen (Joe) Coffey, Rick (Sheri) Heasley, and Susan (Randy) Tomich; my ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

I was born in Greensburg, PA, to a wonderful family and met the love of my life, Carol, at Miami University. And yes, we are a Miami Merger!

In 1972, my life was forever changed when I asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior. My life has been fully following God’s plan since Jesus came into it over 50 years ago now. I will spend eternity with Him. My last wish is that you will consider a personal relationship with Christ, with the guarantee of eternity with him. This is easily done by reading in the Bible.  John 14:6, which states, “The only way to the Father is through the Son who is Jesus Christ."

The Heasley family wishes to thank the caregivers at both Hudson Grande and Traditions Hospice for the wonderful care given to their Dad.

There will be no calling hours.  Pastor Joe Coffey, Dick's son-in-law, will officiate the funeral service on Thursday, June 8, 2023, 10:00 AM, at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro Street, Hudson, Ohio 44236.

Private burial with military honors provided by the U.S. Army, will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
