Richard W. Lloyd

STOW - Richard W. Lloyd, 70, died January 17, 2023.

Born in Akron, Rick was a lifetime area resident and longtime member of First Christian Church of Stow, where he served in many capacities. He was a dedicated and talented volunteer, participating in multiple mission trips focused on hurricane rebuilding and Habitat for Humanity construction. He had a true servant heart, helping others with whatever was needed.

His first priority and what he was most proud of was his family, his love and pride always evident. He was above all a loving and dedicated husband, father, and son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Lloyd.

Rick is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan; daughter, Anna Lloyd and son, Chris Lloyd; mother, Sara Lloyd; sister, Pat (Jim) Ruschak; brother, Jim (Debbie) Lloyd; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Lois Fawcett; brothers-in-law, John (Carol) and Tim (Lavonne) Fawcett, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rev. Jonathan Rumburg will conduct a memorial service Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 1 PM, at First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Stow .
